If you are searching for an LPC-Supervisor this means that you have completed your Masters degree, endured hundreds of hours in practicum work and successfully passed the National Counselor Exam (NCE). As an a LPC-Intern in the state of Texas you must now undergo 3000 hours of counseling supervision by an LPC- Supervisor. In my opinion, this is one of the most important choices a new counselor is forced to make.
Clinical supervision is an investment in your career. It is important that you select a supervisor that will help you grow as a professional while providing sound guidance and direction. Having been where you are, I am very familiar with the anxious excitement of being a licensed intern. The classroom provided the education, your practicum site exposed you to reality and clinical supervision will serve as your professional guide and preparatory step to becoming fully licensed. Though the task is not easy, you are on the last leg of the race! This is an exciting time in your career; one that you will value and blossom from in years to come.

LPC Supervision includes:
1. Mandatory weekly individual sessions (50 minutes)
*Exploration of counseling techniques, evaluation of clinical skills, application of theories, guidance in clinical diagnosis and code of ethics.
2. Assistance with licensing paperwork and documentation of clinical hours
3. On site visits / direct observation of counseling skills
4. Review of case notes, documentation and treatment plans
5. Access to office space
*LPC Interns are not legally allowed to receive direct payment for services, however opportunities to utilize office space are available.

6. Telephone consultations and Skype services available on a limited basis
7. Professional guidance regarding private practice, industry networking, and mentoring
Internship Fee:
$350 per month
I charge a monthly fee vs individual session fees for interns. As your supervisor I am available to you via telephone calls, emails and emergency situations. Rather than charge for every moment shared, I have instituted a monthly payment plan which blankets your guidance outside of our mandated weekly meeting. Partial payment of $175 every 2 weeks is an alternative option for those with strict budgets.
